What We’re Using The Grant For
The grant will help us scale operations and build resilience through the following initiatives:
- Expand Production Capacity: Upgrade our primary processing line to increase cashew nut throughput from 800kg to 4,000kg per day.
- Job Creation: Increase direct jobs from 20 to 40 and indirectly impact over 120 smallholder farmers, especially women.
- Improve Market Access: Position our products for entry into certified international markets like the EU and Middle East through better packaging, documentation, and value-added products.
This achievement reflects not only our dedication to agricultural transformation but also the strong partnerships we’ve cultivated with stakeholders in Ghana and beyond.
“This funding will allow us to accelerate our vision of industrializing Ghana’s cashew sector — building capacity for export, creating sustainable jobs, and delivering high-quality processed cashew products to both local and international markets.”
— George Nkrumah-Sarpong, Founder & CEO of Gensap Ventures
